WALK OUT OF DARKNESS
There comes a time when God calls us to stop looking back and start walking forward. We all have things we've experienced, choices we've made, mistakes we've carried, and seasons we've walked through that may have left us feeling like we're stuck in the dark. But God never intended for us to remain there.
Paul reminds us in Romans 13:12:
"The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light."Romans 13:12 NKJV
There are things we have to be willing to let go of—and there are things God is calling us to put on.
Let go of fear.
Put on faith.
Let go of shame.
Put on grace.
Let go of bitterness.
Put on forgiveness.
Let go of the past.
Step into what God has for you.
Walking out of darkness doesn't mean you'll never face another difficult day. It means you no longer have to face those days without the Light of Christ leading you. You may not know exactly where the road ahead will take you, but you can trust the One who is leading you.
Don't go back to what God is calling you out of. Today, choose to take another step toward the light. Choose faith over fear. Choose obedience over comfort. Choose Jesus.
The night is passing.
The day is coming.
So walk out of darkness and into His light.
